Refund & Cancellation Policy

Baby Nidan does not guarantee refunds for subscription fees once a billing period has commenced. Refund eligibility, if any, for in-app purchases is governed solely by the policies of Apple App Store or Google Play Store, as applicable. The platform does not control or process refunds for transactions completed through third-party payment infrastructure.

All doctors and specialists accessible through Baby Nidan — whether panelist in-house professionals or independently invited practitioners — operate as fully independent licensed medical professionals. Baby Nidan is strictly a technology facilitation platform and assumes no liability whatsoever for the clinical advice, opinions, recommendations, or outcomes arising from any consultation conducted through the platform.

User satisfaction with a consultation or the nature of medical guidance received does not constitute a basis for a refund, service credit, or any form of financial recourse against Baby Nidan. The quality, appropriateness, and outcome of medical advice lies entirely within the purview of the independent professional providing it.

However, Baby Nidan takes the safety and trust of its users very seriously. If a user submits a substantiated complaint regarding the conduct, behaviour, or professional misconduct of a doctor on the platform, Baby Nidan reserves the right, at its sole discretion and following internal review, to issue warnings, suspend, or permanently remove that professional from the platform. Such administrative action does not, however, create any financial liability on Baby Nidan's part toward the complainant.

Service credits may be considered, at Baby Nidan's sole discretion, only in cases of documented and verifiable technical failures directly attributable to the platform itself (e.g., message delivery failure due to a platform-side outage). Such credits, if issued, are non-transferable and non-encashable.

Information We Collect

Baby Nidan collects the following categories of information:

• Identity & Contact Information: Name, mobile number, email address, date of birth of the user and child.
• Health & Pregnancy Data: Due date, baby's date of birth, growth measurements, vaccination records, milestone logs, and health notes entered by the user.
• Communications Data: Voice messages, images, videos, and text messages sent through the platform to doctors.
• Technical Data: Device identifiers, operating system, app version, IP address, usage logs, and crash reports necessary for technical operations.
• Payment Metadata: Subscription status and transaction identifiers (not full card or UPI credentials, which are handled by App Store / Play Store / payment gateway).

How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to:

• Provide pregnancy and child health tracking, vaccine schedule automation, and milestone reminders
• Deliver reminders through push notification, email, and WhatsApp as configured by the user
• Enable secure asynchronous communication between users and their chosen doctors
• Maintain platform security, prevent fraud, and detect technical anomalies
• Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations
• Improve and refine the platform's features and performance

Sharing of Information

Your personal and health data is shared only as follows:

• With Doctors on the Platform: Your health data and consultation messages are shared with the specific doctor(s) you explicitly invite or connect with on the platform, as well as with Baby Nidan's in-house panel of licensed medical professionals (paediatricians and gynaecologists) who are part of the platform's verified specialist network and available for on-demand consultations. You will always be informed of which professionals have access to your information within the app.
• With Service Providers: Contractually bound third-party vendors including cloud hosting, analytics, push notification, and communication infrastructure providers, solely for the purpose of service delivery.
• For Legal Compliance: Where required by law, court order, or regulatory authority under Indian law.

Baby Nidan does not sell, rent, or commercially exploit your personal or health information to any third party.

Data Security

Baby Nidan adopts reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal and health information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, and restricted authorization protocols. However, no digital system can be guaranteed as entirely secure, and users acknowledge the inherent risks associated with electronic data transmission and storage.

Your Rights

Subject to applicable legal requirements and lawful retention obligations, users may request:

• Access to personal data held by Baby Nidan
• Correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Deletion or deactivation of their account and associated data

Data Retention

Personal and health data is retained for as long as the user's account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to meet legal and compliance obligations. Voice messages, images, and consultation communications may be retained for limited durations for quality assurance and dispute resolution purposes.
